Expandable Insulating Foam Sealant

DESCRIPTION:

A unique one part urethane foam which expands as it dries and solidifies. Fills cracks and holes that caulk can't. Sprays as a liquid then expands and cures to a durable semi-rigid closed cell foam insulation. Each can dispenses over 200 linear feet of product when sprayed in a 3/8 inch cured bead. Forms a water resistant, weather resistant and airtight bond on masonry, wood, metal, glass, tile and most plastics. Dries tack free in 15-30 minutes. Cures completely in 8 to 24 hours, depending on humidity. Fills cracks and plugs holes eliminating energy escape or the entrance of insects or rodents. Seals out Radon Gas. Deadens sound when applied to sheet metal. Easy to use. Conforms to any shape as it expands.

Use For: An insulating sealant on and around windows, door frames, sky lights, air conditioning, ventilation and heating ducts, plumbing, window A/C units, spas, hot tubs, boat RV's, electrical equipment, appliances, refrigeration units, carpentry, masonry, conversion vans and buses, auto and truck doors.

DIRECTIONS:

Shake can vigorously for one minute prior to use. Press extension tube firmly onto plastic trigger actuator. Screw trigger/tube assembly onto valve stem, being careful not to actuate valve. Foam expands 2 to 3 times in size. Test in an experimental area prior to actual use.

. Invert Can and press trigger slowly. Do not fill cavity completely full. Fill cavity only 40% as product will expand 200-300%. Release trigger 5 seconds before desired end point, but keep moving as foam will continue to be released. Clean up unwanted uncured foam immediately with paint thinner or acetone. Cured foam can be trimmed with a sharp knife or by sanding. Exposed foam should be covered with paint or stain. To store: Leave trigger and tube on can and store in upright position. To Reuse: Cut off one inch of extension tube and follow directions. Remainder of can must be used with 30 days.
