DESCRIPTION:
Terpene Based Solvent - A Biodegradable, environmentally safe cleaning and degreasing compound for use on aerospace equipment to include aircraft, ground equipment and engines. Butyl-free & Phosphate-free concentrate. Performs at over 90% cleaning efficiency!
. AI 8493-1 conforms to MIL-C-87937B, Type 1 specifications!
. Clean aircraft's, aerospace & warfare ground equipment (AGE) and motor vehicle engines.
. Intended for light to heavy-duty removal of greases, oils hydraulic fluid and carbon.
. Type 1 should only be used on polyurethane and enamel coatings as it may attack acrylic nitrocellulose lacquer coatings found in numerous aircraft. Not intended as canopy cleaner.
DIRECTIONS:
Dilution Ratios:
Aircraft & Ground Equipment - 1:10 to 1:20 depending on amount of soiling, 4:10 for spot cleaning
Vehicle Motor Engines - 3:10
Dip Tank Immersion - 1:4 for heavy soils, 1:10 for light soils
. Dilute according to use soil build up.
. Ensure engines are properly blocked and sealed to preclude contact with internal jet engine components. Not recommended for cleaning canopies or as a spot cleaner for engines.
. Apply using mop, scrub brush, pressure washer or other method.
. Rinse thoroughly.
