DESCRIPTION:
This is a proven effective, concentrate liquid designed to form a dense foam suitable to extinguish all types of Class A and some Class B fires.
. High expansion foam extinguishes by a combination of 3 properties. Firstly, the dense foam blankets the combustible substrate to prevent air (oxygen) from supporting combustion. Secondly, as bubbles collapse they release their water and become vaporized, providing a cooling action that slows down the rate of combustion. Thirdly, water released from the foam contains wetting agents which facilitates penetration into the substrate and increases the rate of extinguishment.
DIRECTIONS:
Use this fire fighting foam in all types of low, medium and high expansion equipment. It can be used successfully at a dilution of 1:1287 (1%) with water.
