SOLUBLE CUTTING OIL
FEATURES:
DESCRIPTION:
This product mixes readily with water to form stable emulsions and has good rust-preventative properties. It is inhibited against foaming. This product is suitable for a wide rage of metal cutting and grinding operations. It will effectively remove heat from the work piece and can be applied as a stream, or in mist form.
. This product is a premium quality soluble oil with a higher concentration of emulsifier for outstanding emulsion stability. This feature gives extra protection against oil-water separation under adverse conditions such as poor water quality or contamination of the emulsion with dirt or trampoil. In addition it contains a bactericide to provide initial resistance to the formations of objectionable odors.
DIRECTIONS:
The soluble oil is a general purpose grade for all the ordinary cutting and grinding operations for which soluble oil is normally used. Mixed with water, it forms a milky-white emulsion that does not gum machined surfaces. Recommended water-oil dilution ratios are 10:1 up to 20:1 forming, boring, and turning, and 40:1 to 80:1 for grinding.
. Cleaning And Rust Prevention: Manufactured parts can be cleaned and protected against rusting by immersing them in an emulsion of diluted about 10:1. The bath should be held at 66-80 degrees. Celsius and agitation should be provided for the pad which remaining in the bath until they reach its temperature. After removal, the pads dry quickly, protected for limited storage periods by a this protective film. With irregular-shaped parts, pools of trapped emulsion must be empties to permit complete drying.
