HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM DESCALER

FEATURES:

  1. This product is safe because it contains no hydrochloric, muriatic or sulfamic acids to attack, steel, capper or aluminum. It is also safe on wood.
  2. Easy to use because its color coded - when its red color turns blue, there is additional scale in system which needs to be purged with another treatment.
  3. Safe to handle, yet reduces head pressure in a matter of hours and restores systems peak efficiency.
  4. Can be left in system 24 to 48 hours with no danger to equipment.
  5. Completely stable in storage and may be kept indefinitely for recurring scale problems.
  6. Economical because of highly concentrated and effective at low dilutions.
  7. Removes as much as 2-3 times more lime scale than an equal weight of muriatic acid.

DESCRIPTIONS:

This product is a safe replacement for hydrochloric muriatic and sulfamic acid solutions, effectively descales lime, slime and algae which rapidly build up in condenser coils and pipes in circulation heating and cooling systems. It is safe in almost all types of systems.

DIRECTIONS;

For Cooling Systems:

. Drain system (from the sump as well as the lowest point in the system)

. Flush debris from sump with pressure hose until sump is clean.

. Recharge with water and add four gallons of product for each 100 gallons of water in system.

. Allow system to operate normally for 24 hours with bleed cut oft.

. Observe color changes and repeat treatment as necessary

. After final treatment, drain system and refill with fresh water, and add the appropriate amount of the proper treatment.

For Boiler Systems:

. Drain and flush unit completely

. Refill with clean water.

. For heavy scale, add one gallon for each ten gallons of water. For light scale add 1 gallon for each twenty gallons of water.

. Open vent to relieve pressure and close off any valves connecting bailer to main stream header.

. Fire boiler to a temperature of 140 degree. F. to 190 degree. F. and allow natural convection to circulate product.

. Observe color changes, and repeat treatment as necessary

. After final treatment, drain boiler and refill with fresh water and proper treatment.

. Note: The fresh circulating solution should be red, and turn purple, then blue as the acid strength is used up. If the solution after circulation is blue, it means that there is much more scale in the system than can be taken care of by one treatment. In this case, drain the spent solution and repeat the treatment again using same procedure as the first time.

. Removes calcium and mineral deposits in copper pipe.
