DESCRIPTION:
This ice melt is for customers that are concerned with environmental issues and corrosion. Safety Melt is great for direct application when speed is critical. This is an excellent deicer,anti icer and prewetting agent.
1.Deicer- An effective decier when applied on top of snow and ice. The Safety Melt works best as a deicer if applied in narrow bands. Banding the fluid minimizes dilution from melting. This allows Safety Melt to penetrate to the pavement to brak the bonds of ice and snow prior to mechanical removal.
2. Anti Icer- Spray on pavement before precipitation begins. A high traction film form to prevent the adhesion of ice and snow, which is then mechanically removed. Uniform coverage and frequent plowing to prevent fluid dilution are important considerations in an anti icing program. This technique is commonly used to keep bridge decks from freezing.
3. Pre wetting Agent- Use as a pre wetter for road salt and other solid deicers.
Because Safety Melt has a very low freezing point, it significantly improves
the performance of solids and does not clog spray nozzles.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Deicer - Application: near 32 degrees F. on thin ice use 1 gallon per 1000
sq ft
If Less than 10 degrees F on 1” of ice, use 3 gallons per 1000 sq ft
2. Anti Icing- ½ gallon per 1000 sq ft
3. pre-wetting agent 1.25 gallons per 100lbs of deicers or sand

anti freezez toilet water, driveways etc.
