THEN and NOW - Montgomery Pond
The top picture is a postcard with no postmark, but appears to be around 1910s. Montgomery Pond is natural pond fed by ice cold springs that runs into Bodine Pond (Lake). Depths were measured in the early 1900's at 50' and was full of Bass. Not much has changed about Montgomery Pond. Aside from a few new homes, it is as peaceful as it was a hundred years ago.
