The Colonial was a boarding house built in the 1800's by Joseph Tether.

Sirus Walter bought the Colonial from Joesph Tether and was then sold to Jacob Hensel.

The Colonial is still there today. The boarding house section is not used anymore but a section was turned into a fine restaurant open Fri Sat &Sun 5pm.
