Schumacher Pond

Schumacher Pond is located on Beaver Brook near Woods and Schumacher Pond Roads. It's not actually a pond, but a section of Beaver Brook that was dammed up. The dam no longer exists, and the pond is no more....
On Schumacher Pond Road, there was coal. This coal was dug out from hand dug pits 20-30 feet deep. A farm was located on Schumacher Pond Road called Coal Farm.
