Laurel Cottage
Abraham & Wife(name unknown) built the Hazen boarding house in the 1800's. Eventually their son Louis Hazen took over. Some time later,he became sick and sold it to Joe Weber who ran it as a boarding house called Laurel Cottages. Sometime later it was sold to a women named Ina and renamed Ina's Shangrala. It was then sold in the 1980's to Jane & Artie Bozan who named it The Bear Paw Lodge and is now a Bed & Breakfast. They are still running the Bear Paw Lodge which is on Washington Lake. People from the City love to stay here in the Summertime and view the sunrises and sunsets over the Lake. The original Barn is also still standing.
