postcard from private collection
A postcard postmarked 1917 of the Sunshine Hall and Library. Today the
library is called the Sunshine Hall Free Library and is on Proctor Road
across from Peck's.
(from interview with Walter Metzger) Inside
was more like a school. It had wooden benches and in the winter there
were vaudeville shows for the residents. There was a big raised stage
four feet off the ground.
