Congregational Church
From a recent notecard: The church's cemetery began as a burial site for soldiers found, many years passed, on the nearby battlegrounds of the 1779 Battle of Minisink. The original church, circa 1835, burned at the end of the 19th Century, and was rebuilt in 1903 on the same site. Services were held here until sometime in the 1940's. Purchased in 1998 by Roswell Hamrick, the restoration of the church and cemetery are scheduled to be completed by its centennial celebration in 2003.
